Revealing Q's new adventure

Ecstatic is too small a word to describe how happy I am to reveal the cover for the next book in the critically acclaimed Q Mystery series, 'The Man with the Golden Compass', coming this October.

This James Bond spin-off series centers on an older version of the beloved character Q from the original Ian Fleming series, in tandem with the Ian Fleming estate, who are working collaboratively with Vaseem and BBUK to bring this project to life. The first book in the series, Quantum of Menace, was published in October 2025 to rave reviews and was chosen as The Times Crime/Thriller Book of the Month.

Synopsis:

Fresh from successfully reinvestigating his childhood friend's mysterious death, Q is hired as a civilian contractor by the police in his sleepy hometown to look into the unsolved murder of tech millionaire turned online antique dealer, Lawrence Noble.

Noble was tortured and killed, a circular object made of gold and inscribed with mysterious runes found beside his body. As Q investigates, he finds himself dragged into a chilling conspiracy where past and present meet in a way he could

not possibly have imagined.
