The Heart Between Us by M. M. Price is one of my most anticipated indie gems. How can you go wrong with this 1st installment of the Mimic series that gifts us yearning, friends-to-lovers where he falls first (sort of), forced proximity, genetic engineering, and monsters?

Synopsis:
